Commsec has recently e-mailed me that the CommSec Cash Account (CCA) and CommSec Investment Account (CIA) are being replaced with the Commonwealth Direct Investment Account (CDIA). From what I understand, this account has severely reduced interest rates compared to the CIA, which is why I used the Commsec accounts in the first place I have used Commsec for about 10 years and have had good service during that time and IMHO for a beginner it has a lot to offer.
